Miami Gardens marks Trayvon Martin’s legacy with annual peace walk and talk

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Dozens of people gathered Saturday morning in Miami Gardens to honor the life of Trayvon Martin, coming together for the city’s annual peace walk held in his memory and calling for unity, justice and an end to gun violence.

The one-mile walk began at Walt Frazier Park about half an hour earlier and marks the 14th year the event has been held.
