Cresswind at Sandy Creek to Offer Resort-Style Amenities and Social Lifestyle For Active Adults
Foley, Ala. — (OBA) — A new 55-plus neighborhood is in development just off the Foley Beach Express, marking the debut of Kolter Homes’ Cresswind brand in Alabama. The project, known as Cresswind at Sandy Creek, is planned to include more than 1,300 homes across approximately 750 acres, according to city officials’ review of the plans. Kolter aims to attract active adults seeking access to the Gulf Coast and amenities, while offering a more affordable market than many beachfront areas.
Kolter has recently begun site work and reports that model homes and the main entrance are in the early stages of construction. The goal for opening the community to residents is sometime in 2027, although that timeline may change as infrastructure and permits develop. The property is a short drive from Gulf Shores and Orange Beach—about 13 miles from the shoreline—providing future residents with quick access to beaches, shopping, and dining while remaining within Foley’s city limits…
