FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY SATURDAY: Cloudy and breezy with a few snow showers possible. Highs in the low to mid 20s.
- Light snow or no snow for most of Central Virginia with 20-30mph wind gusts. (RVA Snow Chance: 30%)
- Less than 3″ of snow possible in our southern counties, along the North Carolina/Virginia state line. (Southern VA Snow Chance: 50%)
Tonight: A few snow showers before midnight. Cloudy, windy and dangerously cold. Lows in the mid teens but the wind will make it feel like 0°. (RVA Snow Chance: 30%, Southern VA Snow Chance: 50%)
- 30-40mph gusts inland, 50mph gusts at the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.
- Isolated power outages/fallen trees are possible.
Sunday: Dangerously cold in the morning; wind-chill temperatures around or below 0°. Cloudy morning, sunny afternoon. Windy. Highs around 30°.
- 30-40mph gusts inland, 50mph gusts at the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.
- Isolated power outages/fallen trees are possible.
