Johnston- Grimes Metro Fire crews, along with fire partners, responded to a structure fire on 240th Avenue early Friday morning at approximately 7:00 a.m., according to the fire department.
Upon arrival, firefighters observed smoke coming from the eaves of a home, officials said. Crews quickly established command, conducted a primary search, and began fire attack operations, while additional crews ventilated the roof.
