Firefighter injured during early morning fire in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A firefighter suffered injuries during an early morning fire in Baton Rouge on Sunday, February 1.

According to the Baton Rouge Fire Department, the firefighter was taken to a medical facility to get checked out. However, the firefighter’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Crews responded to the scene of the flames on Boone Avenue around 3:50 a.m. When firefighters arrived, they discovered flames in the home’s attached garage. Two vehicles, a detached shed, and a dumpster were also on fire…
