LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Ballet Lubbock is marking five years at Buddy Holly Hall, a move that transformed how the longtime arts organization serves the community.
After decades of operating from borrowed studios and shared spaces, the organization found a home at Buddy Holly Hall in 2021. Executive Director Helen Duncum says the move allowed them to expand their mission beyond traditional performances.
“When they think of Ballet Lubbock, they know there’s a place for them. Whether in an audience, in a studio in a community program, anywhere. I want the community to know there’s a place of them here,” Duncum said…
