WINDWARD, Hawaii (KHON2) — Hawaiian language and culture took center stage at Windward Mall today, Jan. 31, as hundreds gathered for the fifth annual Ola Ka ʻĪ Koʻolau fair.
This event is the first in a statewide series of Hawaiian language events kicking off Mahina ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi in Feb.

The celebration turned the mall’s center court into a learning space filled with music, hula, storytelling, and hands-on cultural activities.
