An open house was held the evening of Jan. 16, at the Church of Christ, 460 E. Maple St. in Hartville, to celebrate a “REALE-TIE-ERMENT” party for Jeff Reale, PT, MA, who is retiring after 37 years and possibly hanging up his tie, at least from wearing one to work. Guests were encouraged to wear a tie in Reale’s honor as they attended the event. Reale’s last day was Thursday, Jan. 22. An estimated 100 people stopped by to see Reale and wish him well. Family, friends and work associates prepared food for those who attended.

Jeff and his wife, Renee, have four children: one son, Nicholas (Olivia), and three daughters, Selana (Jeremy) Ickes, Jasmine (Paul) Durbak III, and Mikayla. They also have five grandchildren, Claire, Nico, Walker, Leo and Roselynn, with another grandchild, baby Ickes, on the way. Renee said Jeff has three priorities: “God, his family, and bicycling.” The couple married in 1989 when Jeff came to the area.
