Faulty heater blamed after overnight fire destroys home in Harrison early Saturday

HARRISON, Tenn. — A woman is getting emergency help from the American Red Cross after an overnight fire destroyed her manufactured home in Harrison. No one was hurt.

The homeowner called 911 a little before 3 a.m. to report the fire at a home on Birchwood Pike. When crews arrived, the home was already fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters confirmed everyone made it out safely and shifted to a defensive attack to keep the fire from spreading beyond the structure.

Officials say the manufactured home is a total loss, and say the fire started because of a faulty heater…
