GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On Friday, Feb. 6, guests at tequila bar and restaurant MeXo in Grand Rapids can attend Noche De Xochiquetzal, a curated dining experience inspired by Xochiquetzal, a goddess from Aztec mythology.
“She’s the goddess of love, fertility, beauty and the sacred arts,” said Angela Bono, marketing director at MeXo. “That’s chef Moreno’s theme for Valentine’s Day.”

Beginning at 6 p.m., guests will enjoy multiple courses, cocktail pairings and insightful discussions from chef Oscar Moreno about the history of each dish and its ingredients.
“He’ll tell stories behind those foods,” Bono said. “It’s just a really cool experience.”
