Several county schools close across central Kentucky after snowstorm

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Multiple school districts across central Kentucky will be closed Monday, Feb. 2, as communities continue digging out from last weekend’s snowstorm.

Fayette County Public Schools announced that all classes are canceled, citing lingering winter weather and hazardous road conditions. The decision comes after the district canceled all weekend activities on Friday.
