Woman Arrested In Inglewood For Alleged $2,000 Retail Theft In Canyon Country

A woman accused of stealing more than $2,000 worth of merchandise from a Canyon Country retail store in December was arrested last week following an investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station detectives.

Yeni Vega, 34, was taken into custody Jan. 29 after Crime Impact Team deputies traveled to her residence in Inglewood to serve an arrest warrant, according to a social media post from the Sheriff’s Station.

Vega was transported back to the SCV Sheriff’s Station jail.

The alleged theft occurred Dec. 16 at a store in the 19700 block of Golden Valley Road, where Vega is accused of stealing purses, approximately a dozen pairs of Nike Jordan shoes and more than $1,000 worth of bras and underwear without paying…
