LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A repeat violent offender was taken into custody with the help of a K9 officer.
The Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) says detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit were doing surveillance in the 8200 block of Blue Lick Road on Daniel Thorpe, who LMPD says is a repeat violent offender.
