A mountain lion was sighted within Sebastopol’s city limits Sunday morning, according to police — days after another one was spotted in San Francisco and released.
The animal was reportedly spotted in backyards near Jewel Avenue, Walnut Lane and Shaun Court, in the southern end of Sebastopol. The most recent sighting was on First Street, and the animal appeared to be headed west, police said.
