James Lomogda didn’t take a straight path to his current role with the City of Chesapeake. Along the way, he embraced opportunities to learn, willingly took on new challenges, and built strong working relationships within multiple departments across the City.
Lomogda currently serves as the Operations Administrator for Chesapeake’s Public Works Department. It’s a position that requires clear communication, and an ability to see both the big picture and the smallest details. But long before he found himself in this leadership role, Lomogda was learning the fundamentals from the ground up.
