Drivers urged to stay off roads after 235 crashes: VSP

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Virginia State Police (VSP) troopers have urged drivers to stay off the roads as troopers have responded to 235 road crashes so far this weekend.

On Saturday, Jan. 31, VSP reported that as of 10 p.m., there have been 235 crashes across the Commonwealth, with 24 of them resulting in injuries as another winter storm travels across parts of Virginia.

Of the 235 crashes, 21 took place in Central Virginia, with one injury and one fatality, but weather was not a factor…
