Three Hurt in Serious I-95 Crash in Attleboro

ATTLEBORO (WBSM) — A serious multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Attleboro this morning sent three people to the hospital.

Emergency Crews Respond to Early Morning I-95 Crash

According to a release from Chief Scott T. Lachance, the Attleboro Fire Department was dispatched to I-95 North near Mile Marker 4 at about 5:35 a.m. today for a report of a motor vehicle crash with people trapped.

Firefighters Use Hydraulic Tools to Free Trapped Victim

Crews arrived to find that three vehicles had been involved in the crash. One was in the median, while the other two were on the shoulder of the highway. Firefighters had to use hydraulic tools to pull a woman in her 30s from one of the vehicles. She was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Other Patients Transported to Area Hospitals

The release said a second vehicle was found off the road in a snowbank among a patch of trees……
