Fort Worth police say a pair of early-morning raids shut down what they are calling a major drug trafficking operation, leaving officers carting off several kilograms of methamphetamine, other narcotics, and a pile of cash approaching six figures. One man was taken into custody, and multiple weapons were seized as officers cleared two houses. Investigators say the scale of the bust ranks among the largest recent meth hauls in Fort Worth enforcement activity.
According to the Fort Worth Police Department, Tactical Narcotics Team 3 and SWAT executed search warrants on Jan. 29 at residences on Grainger Street and W. Arlington. Officers reported seizing 5,023 grams of methamphetamine, 586 grams of cocaine, 4 grams of crack cocaine, $108,932 in cash, two firearms, and they arrested one man at the scene. The department identified the arrestee as Benjámín Williams, described him as a convicted felon and a documented gang member believed to be the primary dealer, and logged the incident as report number 260006864. The department said the coordinated operation “shut down a major drug trafficking operation” as investigators continued processing evidence, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.
