Omaha Police, FBI make arrest in connection to ‘swatting’ incident

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Omaha Police, in conjunction with the FBI, have made an arrest in connection to a recent “swatting” call.

A release from OPD says they were notified of the threat of a potential shooting that was shared on social media among Omaha Public School students on January 22, 2026.
