Kansas City, Missouri – A broad late-winter warm-up is taking shape across Kansas and Missouri, bringing a noticeable break from recent cold and setting up a calmer stretch of weather across the central Plains. Temperatures are expected to trend well above seasonal averages, improving travel conditions and easing heating demand on both sides of the state line.
According to the National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center, the Feb. 9–15 outlook favors above-normal temperatures across much of the central Plains and Midwest.
