Stanford Track & Field Achieves New Indoor Top 10 Records

Stanford track and field delivered impressive performances last weekend at events in Boston and Albuquerque. Highlighting the meet, James Dargan broke the four-minute barrier in the men’s mile with a time of 3:58.35, while Leo Young achieved a personal best of 3:57.81 in the invitational mile, ranking him sixth in Stanford’s history. The women’s team saw standout efforts from Juliette Whittaker and Sophia Kennedy, with Whittaker clocking a 4:30.97 in the mile and Kennedy posting an 8:49.23 in the 3000m. Meanwhile, sprinters in New Mexico notched top-10 program times in the men’s 200m and the men’s 4x400m relay. The team heads to Albuquerque again for the New Mexico Collegiate Classic next weekend.
