Baltimore stays under state of emergency after storm as cold, rock-like ice lingers

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Baltimore remains under a state of emergency as crews continue to battle lingering ice, freezing temperatures, and hazardous conditions following last week’s winter storm.

Mayor Brandon Scott said Sunday that the emergency declaration issued Jan. 23 is still in effect, allowing the city to maintain round-the-clock operations to remove heavy ice from streets, sidewalks, and alleys.
