LADSON, S.C. (WCSC) — Areas across the Lowcountry saw snow fall over the weekend which melted creating icy conditions for Monday morning.
With dangerously low temperatures below freezing and high winds, the South Carolina Department of Transportation wants drivers to be aware of black ice, especially over bridges and in shady areas.
The department said they were going to work overnight to treat as many roads as possible, but refreezing could still happen…
