Carjacking at gunpoint in Trotwood leads to police chase

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A person was carjacked at gunpoint late Saturday night, at approximately 11:15 p.m. in Trotwood.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the Harrison Twp. officers assisted the Franklin Police Department in chasing a reportedly stolen vehicle north on I-75.

Officials said the vehicle was stolen, by gunpoint, from the 1500 block of Guenther Road. It was later found, unoccupied, in a driveway in the 5400 block of Webster Street.
