ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — We all know of Punxsutawney Phil, but a local groundhog has made a name for himself. Charles “Chuck” Winchester is a groundhog from Indiana Wild, a haven for unique animals.
Chuck prognosticated an early Spring while at Milan Center Feed & Grain. While perhaps not as popular as Punxsutawney Phil, Chuck’s caretaker, Beth Woods, argues that he is more accurate than Phil.
