Call about suspicious visitor to Westlake home leads to drug arrest

WESTLAKE, Ohio – A resident called the police department at 10:45 a.m. on Jan. 21 to report that an unwanted man was in his yard.

Officers arrived to find a man in a pickup in the driveway. While speaking to the driver, a 63-year-old Willowick man, the investigators noticed drug paraphernalia in plain view. Investigation revealed that he possessed approximately 2.6 grams of methamphetamine and smoking pipes.
