KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Water flooded several Knoxville roads Monday morning after a water main break in the Fort Sanders Area, the Knoxville Utilities Board said.

The KUB said it had identified a break near the intersection of Highland Avenue and 12th Street, and personnel were working to resolve the situation. KUB added that customers were not experiencing any water supply issues.

  • Grand Avenue between 12th Street and L and N Station Drive
  • 12th Street between Highland Avenue and Grand Avenue
  • Highland Avenue between 11th and 13th Streets

KPD added that vehicles parked in the 200 block of 12th Street near Highland Avenue needed to be moved in order for KUB to repair the broken water main. All of them were moved except for one which was towed at the owner’s request, police said.
