VERSAILLES, Ky. (FOX 56) — The person accused of robbing a PNC bank in Versailles on Thursday was taken into custody on Sunday morning.
Bank robbery under investigation in Versailles
The Versailles Police Department responded to a PNC bank robbery on the afternoon of Jan. 29. Officers said that 37-year-old Xavier Green allegedly ran from the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash after the robbery.
The police department announced on Feb. 1 that officers, with the help of the Lexington Police Department, the FBI, and the ATF, located and arrested Green.
Green was charged with second-degree robbery. He is being held in the Woodford County Detention Center. A court date is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Feb. 2. A bond has not been set yet…
