Montgomery Fire/Rescue units have battled a three-alarm fire in the 1800 block of Congressman Dickinson Drive.
Firefighters say it started with a grass fire that spread to two vacant buildings early this afternoon. Strong winds spread the fire to a third vacant building, which prompted the fire to become a two-alarm fire, then a three-alarm.
Firefighters successfully contained the fire, preventing further damage to nearby properties. No injuries were reported among civilians or fire department personnel…
