About 9,700 Dominion customers in region lost power during storm

HAMPTON ROADS, Va. (WAVY) — Dominion Energy said nearly 10,000 of its customers across Hampton Roads and northeastern North Carolina lost power during the winter storm that hit the region Saturday.

Two spots hit the hardest were Norfolk and the Outer Banks.

There were 3,600 Dominion Energy customers without power at one point in Norfolk, and 2,800 without power in the Outer Banks among the roughly 9,700 customers in Hampton Roads and northeastern North Carolina who lost power during the storm…
