Conway, SC – A Virginia man has been sentenced to 15 years in a South Carolina state prison after pleading guilty to a violent burglary at a home in Myrtle Beach’s Grande Dunes neighborhood in April 2024.

Jay’Quan Pollard, 27, of Lynchburg, entered a guilty plea on Friday to second-degree burglary violent, just one month before his trial was scheduled to begin. The plea deal was accepted by Circuit Court Judge David Caraker, who handed down the 15-year sentence, which requires Pollard to serve at least 85 percent before becoming eligible for parole…
