Lenawee Teen Sentenced for Fatal Shooting

ADRIAN — A Lenawee County judge has sentenced Trenton Karl-Mark Berry to 12 to 50 years in prison following a no contest plea in a second-degree murder case.

Court records show Berry was originally charged with open murder and multiple firearm-related felonies stemming from a November 2023 homicide. Those additional charges were dismissed as part of a plea agreement, with Berry entering a no contest plea to second-degree murder in November 2025.

Sentencing took place Jan. 30 in the 39th Circuit Court, where Judge Anna Marie Anzalone imposed a prison term with credit for 719 days already served. The court also ordered mandatory state costs and a crime victim rights assessment…
