Ohio State Highway Patrol investigating fatal crash in Medina County

MEDINA COUNTY, Ohio — One person was killed Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Road and State Route 303, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Troopers said a 2018 Ford Fusion was traveling north on State Road shortly before 9:46 a.m. when it failed to yield at a stop sign while turning west onto Route 303. The vehicle was struck by a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado traveling east on Route 303.

The driver of the Ford Fusion, Halley Woodward, 40, of South Euclid, was transported from the scene by emergency medical services and later pronounced dead at Brunswick Medical Center. Troopers said Woodward was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash…
