CLEVELAND, Ohio — It’s National Tater Tot Day (Feb. 2), and frankly, that’s something worth celebrating — one golden, crispy bite at a time.
More fun than fries, sturdier than mashed and endlessly snackable, tater tots are the little potato heroes that never let us down. Whether they’re piled next to a burger, smothered in cheese as totchos or eaten straight off the baking sheet (we won’t judge), tots are comfort food royalty.
So in honor of the day, the Best of Cleveland team dug back into our freezer case showdown, where we tasted and ranked 20 frozen tater tot varieties from worst to best.
