ST. LOUIS — A police chase out of St. Louis County ended with officers fatally shooting an armed suspect Sunday night in north St. Louis.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, city police were called in at about 11 p.m. Sunday to assist with a shooting involving county officers in the area of North 2nd Street and East Grand Avenue.
Preliminary investigation revealed that St. Louis County police officers had chased a truck wanted in connection with shots fired in their jurisdiction, and the pursuit ended in north St. Louis along the railroad because the suspect was forced to stop for a train, police said…
