WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – National reports, many citing fashion-industry trade journal Women’s Wear Daily, say that Eddie Bauer, a more-than-century-old outdoor retailer, is closing its fleet of about 200 stores in North America. This includes two location in Wichita.
Reports say that the brick-and-mortar closures are on the heals of Eddie Bauer preparing to file Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The company’s operations in Japan and its e-commerce, manufacturing and wholesale operations in North America aren’t expected to be impacted, multiple reports clarify.
