Anonymous 1958 graduate donates $1M to Wichita State business school

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – An anonymous 1958 graduate has gifted Wichita State University’s business school $1 million.

The donation will support need-based scholarships in the W. Frank Barton School of Business, directly benefiting students who face financial challenges.

Wichita State says first-generation students make up about half of its enrollment. These students typically receive less financial support and are more likely to rely on private loans to pay for their education.
