Albany man indicted for 3D-printing ghost guns

ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) – After a years-long investigation, an Albany man has been indicted for allegedly 3D-printing illegal firearms.

On January 8, Demetrio Daga, 43, was pulled over by New York State Police for a traffic violation. Police say a search of his vehicle uncovered a loaded 3D-printed 9mm handgun, after which, police executed multiple search warrants in Albany relating to the manufacturing of “personally manufactured firearms.”…
