Fugitives wanted in Massachusetts homicide case arrested in Maine

BOSTON (WWLP) – Two fugitives wanted in connection with a Massachusetts homicide were arrested in Maine on Monday.

The U.S. Marshals Service stated that 35-year-old Michael Thompson was wanted in connection with a homicide in Brockton that occurred in September 2025. The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office issued an arrest warrant for murder on September 26.

Following a lengthy investigation, the U.S. Marshals Service District of Massachusetts Task Force and the Maine Violent Offender Task Force determined that Thompson and his co-conspirator, 25-year-old Dayana Slade, were believed to be in Maine. On Tuesday, Thompson and Slade were arrested in Lewiston, ME.

The task forces were assisted by the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, the Lewiston Police Department, the Brockton Police Department, and State Police assigned to the Plymouth DA’s Office…
