Exclusive: Jeffrey ‘Roofman’ Manchester talks about his crimes, prison escape, more for 1st time ever

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Jeffrey Manchester said there are no excuses for the things he’s done.

Those things date back to 26 years ago, when Manchester broke into and robbed two McDonald’s restaurants in Gaston County by cutting a hole in the roof.

He was arrested and sent to prison but he didn’t stay behind bars. Manchester escaped and hid in plain sight at a Toys R Us store in Charlotte…
