MOBILE, Ala. (NBC 15) — A desperate search is underway for a missing Theodore family. Neighbors last saw 40-year-old Aurelia Choc Cac De Tiul, her 17-year-old daughter Niurka Zuleta Shamaytan Tiul Choc, and Aurelia’s two-year-old son Anthony Choc on Friday. Their family and friends are growing more anxious by the minute. They say it is deeply troubling cell phones were left behind, blood was discovered in their Ben Hamilton Road home, and that Aurelia’s mattress is missing. Speaking through a translator, Aurelia’s oldest daughter, Lorena, pleaded for answers in her family’s disappearance.
“Whoever did this, please bring my little brother home,” said Lorena. “I’m waiting for them to come home with the little baby.”
Maurice and Kim Simmons say they’ve lived next door to the missing family for four years and had become like adopted grandparents. Maurice says they’d take the kids to school, cook for each other, and attend family gatherings…
