Mobile police make 4 domestic violence arrests over weekend

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Officers with the Mobile Police Department responded to several domestic violence calls over the cold weekend, making four arrests.

It was about 12:26 a.m. Saturday when officers responded to the 2600 block of Pathway Place in reference to a domestic incident involving a shooting. They discovered a female victim had already been taken to a local hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening after she was struck by gunfire. Police said a known female subject shot the victim during an argument, and subsequently Sakiya Robinson, 20, of Mobile, was arrested and charged with second-degree domestic violence assault.
