Mobile County deputies allegedly find stash of drugs and guns, arrest local man

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Mobile man has been arrested and charged with drug trafficking following a search by Mobile County Sheriff’s Office deputies, according to MCSO officials.

According to an MCSO news release, the MCSO Narcotics and Vice Unit searched a home on the 900 block of Carleton Avenue in Mobile on Tuesday, Jan. 27.

During the search, they allegedly found approximately 317 grams of cocaine, marijuana, and five handguns. One of the handguns was reported stolen by the Bay Minette Police Department.

While the search warrant was being carried out, Tommy Yarnell Jones, 48, of Mobile, was arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine, first-degree possession of marijuana, receiving stolen property, and possession of drug paraphernalia…
