Mass. woman injured after snowmobile collides with tree in N.H.

A 23-year-old Massachusetts woman was hurt Friday morning when the snowmobile she was riding collided with a tree on a trail in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, officials said.

A conservation officer learned of the crash on Old Cherry Mountain Road at around 11:30 am. Friday, New Hampshire Fish and Game said in a statement.

Tatyan Desinor, of Marlborough, had been operating a rental snowmobile when she tried to make a left-hand turn on the trail. As she attempted the turn, Desinor get pulled into the soft snow on the right-hand side of the trail, directly into a tree. She sustained an “unknown upper body injury,” according to the statement…
