MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — Tera Suarez, 45, was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Friday by District Judge Peter Barton after being found guilty of aggravated battery and using a deadly weapon during a crime. The charges relate to an April 24, 2025, incident when Meridian police responded to St. Luke’s Emergency Room for a woman with multiple stab wounds.
