SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A Midvale man has been sentenced to a minimum of 15 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to hitting an infant’s head against the side of an elevator multiple times.
Zachary Jarred Walton, 30, pleaded guilty to the first-degree felony murder in December, more than a year after he was originally arrested.
As part of his guilty plea, two counts of second-degree felony aggravated child abuse were dismissed.
