(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Two people were killed in a head-on crash on Highway 115 south of Lake Avenue on Monday, Feb. 2.
According to CSPD, shortly after 2 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a report of a head-on crash on Highway 115 south of East Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard. When crews arrived, they found two people dead.
The initial investigation revealed a car was heading southbound on Hwy 115, crossed over into northbound traffic, and hit another car head-on, killing both drivers. A third car was also involved, and that driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. At this stage in the investigation, CSPD said neither speed nor alcohol appear to be factors in the crash…
