Former West Linn doctor’s alleged abuse lawsuit ends with settlement agreement

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The fourth and final defendant in a $1 billion lawsuit over a former West Linn doctor’s alleged sex abuse has reached a settlement agreement, attorneys announced Monday.

Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center has reached a deal with the 174 plaintiffs who sued after they allegedly suffered sexual abuse disguised as medical care while being treated by the now ex-doctor, David Farley.

Legacy Meridian Park Hospital, Farley and his former private practice, West Linn Family Health Center, settled with the plaintiffs last week.
