BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The man accused of firing shots at a residence in Buncombe County has pleaded guilty to his charges.
The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office said on Jan. 22, James Robert Wyerman pleaded guilty to:
- Two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill
- Six counts of discharging into occupied property
- Possession of a stolen firearm
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded in February 2025 to reports of a person being shot at in the 200 block of Poverty Branch Road in Barnardsville.
