Cold start then a fast warm-up before the next cold front

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Early this morning starts cold, but not as harsh as recent days. Most inland areas are waking up in the low 30s, with a few spots near freezing and patchy frost possible away from the coast. Near the coast, most locations will be in the upper 30s. Skies are mostly clear, and light winds will allow temperatures to slowly rise after sunrise.

Today will be sunny and a bit warmer, but still cooler than normal for early February. Afternoon highs will only reach the mid to upper 60s, which is much closer to the average of 73.
